Before we begin I should explain some terms. The 3G Prelude has the following settings adjustable from the factory:
Caster
To put it simply caster is which direction and how much the steering knuckle is leaning when viewed from the side. Negative caster is unusual, positive is preferred as it helps with tracking straight. There is also another effect with positive caster: When you turn the steering wheel it increases the negative camber on the outside wheel. This is good. If the caster isn't even side to side then you might get a pull to the side with the least positive caster.
Camber
Camber is which direction and how much the wheels are leaning when viewed from the front. Tops leaning outward is positive and tops leaning inward is negative. Positive camber is unusual, typically a road car will have 0° camber or negative camber.
Toe
Toe is how the wheel are pointed when the steering wheel is centered. Pointing towards the center of the car is toe-in and away from the center is toe-out. Street cars usually run 0° toe or a little bit of toe-in. This is probably the most important setting to get right.
Track
Track is the distance between the center of each tire where it meets the ground when viewed from the front. It's usually different front to rear as seen above. The 4WS models have a camber adjustment on the rear lower arm that doubles as a track adjustment and I'll go more into this in the Camber adjustment section.
Now with all that covered it's time to move on to Prepping your workspace/tools.
