Question:

No matter what type of windshield wiper I put on the car, it always chatters.

Answer:

Wiper Chattering is caused by one of two problems. The first is due to poor quality rubber blades and frames, while the second is from the angle the blade is wiping against the glass. I use Bosch and Rain-x wiper blades.
Correcting the chatter from an angle problem is simple. You will need a 6-inch adjustable wrench. Slide the wrench at the end closest to the wiper blade over the arm. Adjust the wrench to the arm. Simply bend the arm slightly to change the angle the blade is hitting the glass. If the blade is chattering on the up-stroke, make a slight change to angle the wiping edge downward.
