Shifter Install, ECU/Wiring Routing

First you will want to mount your shifter. On mine I moved the bolt holes back about 1" but if you cant do this then the easiest thing to do is drill new holes in your chassis to match the ones on the shifter base. Only downside to this is it will now be a 2 man job to install it because someone has to be under the car holding the nut with a wrench. Depending which shifter you went with you may also need to remove the plate under the shifter and dent the exhaust tunnel a bit to get it to sit flat.

If you had to remove the plate under the shifter and need to seal it try using foam blocks/trim. You should be able to find something to do the job at your local hardware store:

The Wireworx harness plugs in like the stock harness, after that you are pretty much done. The rest of the tutorial is for the Rywire harness.
For the Rywire harness you need to do the following:
Route the Rywire harness past the rear mount towards the passenger side between the cross member and firewall.
Also take the second smaller expansion harness from rywire and route the end with the wires that need to be spliced to the same spot and the other end with the 8 pin white connector going to near the fuse box:
These connect. The empty pin on the white plug is where you need to route the extra wire you added to the alternator plug, this wire controls the charge warning light in the cluster:
Now you will need to cut a hole in the passenger foot well to route the harness into the interior. In the following picture you can see where to cut the hole, the ECU plugged in, the injector resistor plugged in, and the expansion harness plugged into the main harness. All that is left is to splice the extra wires into the stock OBD1 connectors, which will be covered in the wiring section:
